How to Use Sunday Spritz Transdermal Magnesium Spray
DISCLAIMER: Sunday Spritz is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease. Consult a healthcare professional before use, especially if you have medical conditions or concerns.

Sunday Spritz is a transdermal magnesium spray designed to replenish magnesium levels, support cellular hydration, and alleviate the "Sunday Scaries". It contains distilled water, pure magnesium chloride, and premium essential oils, delivering fast-acting comfort without digestive upset. Below are detailed instructions for use.

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Prepare Your Skin:
    • For optimal absorption, apply Sunday Spritz for 15 minute duration before a warm shower or bath. It may leave you with dried magnesium on your skin, which you will want to wash off after use.

    • Clean and dry the target area (e.g., arms, legs, abdomen, or feet) to remove oils, lotions, or sweat that could interfere with absorption.
    • Avoid broken skin, open wounds, or sensitive areas like the eyes, face, genitals or mucous membranes to prevent irritation.

  2. Shake the Bottle:
    • Gently shake the Sunday Spritz bottle to ensure the magnesium chloride and essential oils are well-mixed, especially if the product has been sitting for a while.
  3. Apply the Spray:
    • Hold the bottle 4–6 inches from your skin and spritz 5–10 times (or until dripping) onto areas where they will absorb the best:

      • We recommend at the nape of the neck. Please be sure to avoid contact with eyes, ears, mouth, or nose.
    • For targeted relief (e.g., muscle soreness or nausea), apply to affected areas like shoulders, lower back, or abdomen.
  4. Massage In:
    • Gently rub the spray into your skin to enhance absorption and reduce stickiness.

    • Allow the product to dry for 1–5 minutes before covering with clothing or bedding to avoid residue transfer. We recommend not touching the area to anything until you wash it off to avoid transfer.

  5. Timing and Frequency:
    • Post-Drinking Recovery: Apply Sunday Spritz the morning after drinking to replenish magnesium depleted by alcohol, which peer-reviewed studies link to increased urinary magnesium loss. Our preference is to use it 15 minutes before you shower.

    • Daily Use: Use 1–2 times daily (e.g., morning and/or before bed) to support cellular hydration, mental clarity, and energy.
    • Before Bed: Spritz on nape of neck to promote relaxation and better sleep, as magnesium may support melatonin production.

    • Wait at least 15 minutes after application before showering or washing off to ensure absorption.

  6. Dosage:
    • Start with 5–10 sprays.

    • Adjust based on your needs, as there’s no upper limit for transdermal magnesium due to the body’s ability to excrete excess naturally.

    • If you experience a tingling or itching sensation, this is VERY common and nothing to worry about. This may indicate low magnesium levels and typically subsides with regular use. Towel off or dilute with a carrier oil (e.g., coconut oil) if irritation persists.

  7. Clean Up:
    • Wash your hands after application to avoid accidental contact with eyes or sensitive areas.
    • Rinse off with water if irritation occurs or before bedtime to prevent residue on sheets.

Safety Considerations
  • Skin Irritation: Some users may experience mild stinging or itching, especially if magnesium levels are low. This is generally harmless and decreases with use. If irritation persists, dilute with water or stop use and consult a doctor.

  • Allergies: Avoid Sunday Spritz if you’re allergic to magnesium chloride or the essential oils in the nausea or relaxation aromas. Check the ingredient list on the product label.

  • Sensitive Populations: Cancer patients or those with sensitive skin (e.g., from chemotherapy) should consult their doctor before use, as transdermal magnesium may cause irritation.

  • Safe for Most: Transdermal magnesium is unlikely to cause systemic toxicity, as excess magnesium is excreted naturally, unlike oral supplements, which can cause diarrhea at high doses.
